Madden 2010 Issues with Players Shifting , Pro Tack Issues

March 182010

Overall as I say first, much more improvement than I expected. That said, plays like this show that what should be failed inside runs turn into 5 yard gains because of block shifting and pro tack.

Do horses come with you to the tack store?

March 172010

The question is just like it sounds! I do not own a horse nor plan to own one I am writing a report for school! Would I need to take a horse to a tack shop and buy a saddle, bridle, breast caller, etc? Or can I buy them all online if I already know the horses sizes! Also how do you measure a horse for a saddle, bridle, cooler, breast caller and all that stuff! Like I said this is just a report for school so don’t worry about the fact that I know nothing about horses!

For your report, you might want to look up "How to measure for saddle fit", or bridle fit, etc. Saddles and other tack are purchased in many ways, including online. From custom fitting with the horse measured by the saddler and made to order, to online guesstimates, there is a broad range.
No, most people do not take their horses to the tack shops. Most tack shops allow a trial period wherein you can take the saddle home, try it out (keeping it clean), and return it if it doesn’t fit.

Horse Questions! Yes I hate answering a lot of questions too but please help! Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

March 152010

I am doing a lease soon and I have a few questions in general and about owning or buying.

5. How do sign up for 4-H in your town or city?
7. I still have quite a bit of time before I go to college and so I was wondering what I can do in advance to become an equine vet? I know do good in math and science but what can I do when I am not in school?
8. Best part to owning a horse?
9. Best way to spoil your horse without it being a bratt basically being a good owner?
10. Is there any website where I can post a wanted add for tack? If so what and how?
Thanks for your time!

Madden 2010, In Depth Look at Pro Tack. Why it doesnt back up the hype. Part 1.

March 122010

To even a casual fan, this scenario will look painfully familiar. The players don’t matter, the positions don’t either, another play ultimately controlled by a set of animations the user has no control over.

Would you buy handmade natural leather care products?

March 112010

Okay, here is the situation. I have been making glycerine soap, saddle soap, pine tar balm and beeswax leather cream for over a decade now. I started because I hated the idea that ingredients are not always listed on leather care products and I refuse to use mink oil. In that time many people have asked me to make these products for them. As it stands I make a batch of most of these items at least once per month. I am thinking of going into business. Let me ask you this. Would you buy handmade soaps and leather care products from your local tack shops or online knowing that they were handmade and cruelty free?

definitely! i wish there was something like this! i just bought some leather cleaner today, and if there was a handmade and/or cruelty free product, i would have bought it in an instant. especially being a vegetarian, cruelty free is great when i can get it, i already feel guilty having leather boots and a leather saddle.

so yes, i would buy it :)

StateLineTack.com or Horse.com?

March 92010

i was wondering where i should order horse tack online since i have no tack shops where i live so could you please tell me which you prefer?
thanks all

i prefer statelinetack for riding stuff (saddles, bridles halters) the high end stuff. Horse.com is better for barn stuff and fly spray stuff like that. Stateline has more new things and both have good qualities.

Will Deuce Lutui boycott Madden 2010? Lineshifting and Pro Tack issues presist.

March 92010

TJ Houshmandzadeh is gonna boycott, well I say its time Deuce Lutui does the same. This is just a demo but EA shouldn’t respect consumers enough to know that some $60 purchases were riding on this demo being good. This is on All Madden and on my first play, a line shift breaks down, Pro Tack works its magic and best of all I get hit with a 10 yard holding call.

Is it safe to use acrylic paint on a fly mask/will it wash off?

March 72010

I really wanted to buy my horse one of the fly masks with the funny eyes painted on them. I didn’t find them at my local tack shop, and I’m hesitant about buying online, so I bought a regular one figuring I’d paint it later. Has anyone painted their own fly mask before? Which paint did you use, and did it rub off?

this one is $20 =)
