you should tell people to ALWAYS chech the saddle pad and make sure it’s clean so that there isn’t any straw or anything poking ur horse before puting it on him/her

You had to learn to …
You had to learn to tie your shoes, saddle a horse, etc just like everyone else. There is a first time for everything, and everyone learns from step one, is they want to develop competence and not cockiness. She is teaching basics and that is wonderful. I have seen beginner think the pad is optional, on a western saddle at that–I of course set dude straight and saved the horse a bit of pain. Ignorance is inherent in this world, at times blameless but always dangerous. Remedy: education!
