Horse Tack & Saddles

I am looking at some careers and one of them is owning a tack store. I am moving to Charlevoix, MI and it is near Travers city. There is a small town right outside of traverse city and they have the Horse Shows by the Bay every year. These are high class equestrians that compete there and I think a Dover saddlery would be a good idea. Could I start a franchise of Dover saddlery?

Dover Saddlery does not do franchises. When the owners of the company decide to build a new store, they do it on their own terms. They choose the location and then, when the store is built, hire a general manager who then hires the other employees.

   You would have to contact Dover to find out if they even do franchises, and if so, how much capital is required.
