Well, duh, in the Olympics they do not have western events. And I bet alot of those English riders you see in the Olympics ride Western also. You don’t have to be so rude about it.

  6. Thank you for your …
Thank you for your view. Some barns do enforce helmet safety when working around the the horses, but we only require helmets when riding. Horses are dangerous so safety is important and I commend you for staying on top of it! We do most tacking from the left side but it’s almost easier to put the saddle on the right side so you can fasten the girth right away since it is tightened on the left.

  7. Great video. As a …
Great video. As a father of a young rider (under 18) I always insist that helmet safety be included while tacking and untacking, not just riding. I’m not sure also but shouldn’t the saddle be put on and off the left side? Keep up the great work. I learned alot.

its not actually a nose band , a nose band is lower on the horse to stop the horse from opening his mouth that is a cavasson nose band . but a nice video, cheers from australia.

It’s amazing how rude you’re being to me when I’m only trying to be respectful. There is honestly no reason to call me such names. That’s fine that you were viewing videos at random, but if you don’t have something nice or at least constructive to say, there’s really no point in commenting at all.

well SORRY retard i was bored so i was watching random videos and your happens to be random

  16. Is that really an …
Is that really an excuse to insult it? If you don’t like it, then don’t watch the video. Many people don’t like western, but I would consider it equally rude if they simply stated that western was dumb in a video that was irrelavent to which riding style is “better” than the other.

I’m just trying to teach viewers that are newer to the horse world how to tack up your english riding horse. I’m not a western rider, otherwise I would’ve used western tack.

  21. So I should always …
So I should always be turning away from them? I don’t quite understand. Ive always known people to face and admire them up close. My horse loves being the center of attention and I don’t feel that most horses are threatened because you’re facing their direction.

    u should never face …
u should never face ur horse becuz its apredator threat to them

  23. I agree with …
I agree with tinynbella, it’s much more fairer to the horse if you do it up hole by hole. And yeah you shouldn’t take the halter FULLY off. I always take offf the bridle first then i put the halter on.

  24. i dont take my …
i dont take my girth fully off, just on the left side then i lay it over the saddle! also i do my girth up hole by hole. Its gving the horse respect when you do it hole by hole
