Its dead easy to look after and after a days hunt when its covered in mud i just hose it off no saddle soap or anything just a hose and leave it to dry in the sun. Also i have used leather before but i find that synthetic lasts longer and is much more flexible. Also it isnt damaged by exposer to the rain and then sun. I also get really good performance out of my horse with the saddle and she doesnt struggle at all. It s brilliant also becaus it has a changeable gullet so when she puts on weight i dont have to have it re flocked i just chnge the gullet which is great for the summer/winter weight gain and loss.<br><b>References : </b><br> I use a wintec saddle and it is ace. I really liked it... it was really easy to manage, and felt good. I used wintec. I have not actually ridden in a synthetic saddle, only a bridle, but it was really nice! If you don't like the feel of the reins, which some people don't, you can always get leather reins and switch them out. They are very durable because if it gets dirty, you just spray it off with a hose. You can also ride in the rain without a worry.
